Timothy J. Walsh was raised in Haverford Township, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia.
Throughout high school, he invested himself heavily into the arts program, leading toward his later pursuit of higher education in the fine arts. As the arts became a larger and larger part of his life, the passion within him was becoming more evident.
Graduating in 2007 from Philadelphia’s University of the Arts’ prestigious Graphic Design program, Timothy has gained theory and technical skills from a distinguished faculty of graphic designers. Along with the increasing skill set, Timothy has also sought to refine his passion. He says that his best work is that which makes a statement—one in which he believes strongly.
Through many of life’s struggles, Timothy’s artwork has been his outlet. His work shows the true emotions that he feels and often reaches out to the viewer with the same happiness, pain, sadness, or confusion, which went into its creation.
Timothy keeps an extremely busy schedule. He is currently working with several international non-profit and cultural institutions. He is also the Creative Director/Assistant Director of Communications for an international non-profit with United States headquarters in Philadelphia, PA. Along with running an independent design office, Timothy is in the process of starting a collaborative design office with two of his uArts classmates called "Studio Janu."
Timothy is also an occasional teacher and speaker at workshops, seminars and arts events.
Timothy is happily married to his wife Jenna and lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
